True Confession: I’m feeling cranky today.

Ok, sure, I admit. The following is a bit harsh. I confess to painting with a broad brush. Yes, there are some good doctors, planners and others out there. But they’re few and far between as anyone living in the real world will attest.

Let the chips fall where they may.

DENTISTS
Fill your teeth with amalgam fillings that outgas mercury and poison you slowly over decades. Provide fluoride rinses and coatings that do the same.

Perform pricey root canal procedures that kill your teeth and separate them from their energetic meridian connections to internal organs.

Over time these dead and decaying organs become internally toxic, promoting disease and shortening lifespan.

But kids get free lollipops.

MEDICAL DOCTORS
Excellent for trauma and emergency medicine. State of the art. Know next to nothing about nutrition or food as medicine. Take a mechanical, “fix it” approach to health.

Cut, radiate, poison, stent, amputate, intubate, ream, graft, bypass, remove, replace. Like JiffyLube for humans.

Demigods in white coats and stethoscopes who tend towards professional arrogance when approached on subjects of natural wellness, in particular energy medicine which they view as voodoo and typically know nothing about.

Receive cash bonuses for hitting patient quotas for certain procedures, including toxic vaccines. Not exactly what Hippocrates had in mind.

Is your kid fidgeting while waiting for the ER doc? There’s a candy vending machine in the lobby, right next to the sign promoting the free flu vaccine.

FINANCIAL PLANNERS
Know next to nothing about portfolio risk management. No downside protection for client nest eggs. No exposure to hard assets like precious metals.

For the most part, shills of Wall Street who collect fees just for touching your money. Immunized by their license because they follow the “best practices” of the financial panning industry, therefore suffering no liability exposure when escorting your life savings to the bottom of the next market crash.

Who has the guaranteed retirement plan? They do.

PRIESTS & PASTORS
Figureheads for churches incorporated under the state for profit. Have their taxes withheld on a W-4. Operate their churches under Employer Identification Numbers from the IRS.

Probably not what Jesus would do.

Careful what they say from the pulpit (certainly, nothing political) lest they lose their tax exempt status. Hypocrisy at a level so high as to be nearly invisible. Parishioners pass the plate and write the donations off on their 1040’s.

So much for separation of church and state.

BOTTOM LINE
There are no experts, including me. Some people are just better informed than others. Because knowledge is power, right?

No, it is not. Knowledge for its own sake is useless. Knowledge applied is power.
