GP Academy Letter 251010: I Had a Meeting With Myself...

Dear Friends, Fans and Detractors,

I had a meeting with myself this week (complete with PowerPoint slides) and made a couple of major decisions.

1) The first is that henceforth this newsletter will serve largely to update and advise students of Gordon Phillips Academy about coming classes and meetups, and with reminders of presentation videos available to review.

2) The second is that I am officially reinstating The DAILY SPAM to cover breaking news items of importance to all, with the usual personal commentary. But not here, over at Substack.

I had so much fun writing The DAILY SPAM in the past that it almost felt indecent. And with all the drama, angst and turmoil in the world these days, it’s time to have fun again!

My intent is that it be factually informative and useful, while at the same time allowing me to reach a wider and more diverse audience by sprinkling even taboo topics with satire and snark.

Best of all it will still be FREE… and cheap at twice the price!

So starting soon you can expect The DAILY SPAM in your inbox and the occasional GP Academy Letter as well.

Thank you sincerely for your continuing support and I look forward to entertaining, informing and occasionally horrifying you in the future.

BTW, I’m creating a spiffy new website for this project which you can view here. As you can see, I am again unleashing my inner 12-year-old and letting him play with the missile launchers.

Ahh, to be young again! Or could this be a sign of early onset dementia? Maybe I need some more krill oil…
