Living In Amerika (Post Collapse)

In a Jan 19, 2025 article at Natural News, Mike Adams writes (excerpted):

"The global die-off and urban collapse will lead to a resurgence in decentralized governance and self-reliant living... States and cities will increasingly nullify federal authority, potentially leading to… new nation-states, with resistance to centralized healthcare, food regulations and other policies... Global supply chain failures will shift food systems to local, seasonal production, with reliance on small farms..."

This is exactly what I’ve been saying for several years now. Sounds like a libertarian dream. But let’s take a deeper look.

Millions in high population density areas will die from hunger, disease, forced medical compliance, power blackouts, exposure and violent crime as the cities implode like rotten apples.

Just beyond these no-go zones where even the police dare not tread, entrenched suburbanites will attempt to hang on to the remaining shreds of middle class life as the G.R.I.D. tightens and essential services decay all around them.

The winners will be the folks who move deep into nature well before the fun begins—who acquire some land off the beaten path, dig in, stock up, pull the plug, hunker down, lay low, hang loose, have fun and ride it out.

And along the way you just might discover who you really are. As the Godfather Of Soul reminds us in a party tune from the good old days.
