Notes From Gordon: Study Reveals Forests 'Talk' Before a Solar Eclipse

From The Article: “Spruce trees can sense and prepare for solar eclipses… synchronizing their bioelectrical signals hours in advance in a display of forest-wide coordination… a level of intelligence and communication in trees that rivals animal behavior… the famous ‘wood wide web’ in action!”
A Note From Gordon: I love trees. Climbing them was among my favorite childhood activities, back in those primitive times when children played outdoors all day without cellphones.
When you look at a tree you see a tree. But what is the tree’s reality? How does the tree see itself? For that matter, how do trees “see” other trees?
I suggest that you think of a tree as an antenna array with fractally distributed branches (following the Fibonacci sequence) that spreads its leaves (like little radar dishes) to receive electromagnetic energy in a variety of forms, from solar radiation to the Earth’s own resonant Schumann frequencies, none of which humans can directly perceive.
Why would we not think that trees can share their unique experience with others? For some illuminating vacation enjoyment, read, “The Secret Life of Plants: a Fascinating Account of the Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Relations Between Plants and Man,” by Peter Tompkins.
Even better, read it in the shade of a tree and be sure to thank it.
