The RISE Reader: Diligent Daily Detox Defies Dastardly Dental Demise, Delivers Dad From Death's Door!

Good day, dear ones…

Have any of your choppers ever been subjected to a root canal procedure?

That’s where the dentist deftly drills down through your abscessed, cracked or otherwise painful tooth and puts it out of its misery by severing the nerve along with the blood supply so that no more red blood cells can deliver oxygen to that tooth. Ever again.

BIOLOGY LESSON: The inside of every tooth is filled with countless microtubules that harbor billions of individual aerobic bacteria.

After the dental assassin (dentist) has executed the tooth, s/he “sterilizes” the area with ozone, fills the cadaver with some special dental compound, hands you a BIG bill, and you’re good to go. Chew away, my friend!

However, this sterilization process cannot reach inside the deceased tooth (RIP) which now continues to sit there, embedded in your jaw… dead as a doornail.

Over time the aerobic bacteria that were trapped inside the cadaver die off. Why? No oxygen, so no red blood cells to deliver any O2. The blood supply was cut off, remember?

And now a spooky thing happens. In order to survive, the last aerobic holdouts morph into anaerobic species of bacteria that don’t need oxygen. In fact, they will die in the presence of O2. Think: Dracula + crucifix.

These nasty anaerobes continue to divide and divide, and double and double, and over time fill up 100% of those microtubules with their own family members.

Yes, there’s a new gang in town, and they’re genuine baddies. Their waste products resemble botulin (OMG!), and they’re releasing micrograms of these toxins each day into the tissue surrounding your long deceased chopper.

As the years go by, your immune system is able to: (a) handily neutralize these toxins, (b) dump them into your liver to be detoxed, and (c) send them to your colon for an all-expense-paid trip to the town sewer or backyard septic tank.

The years go by—perhaps decades—and that necrotic chopper is becoming increasingly infected as it continues to spill its foul waste into your blood supply. Your immune system begins to struggle to handle the toxic load. And you start to become ill from a wide range of maladies, from heart disease to cancer.

Whoah! Yes, but true, dear ones.

You are not personally aware of the ongoing crime scene because there is no discomfort to warn you. And why not? Because the nerve to that rotting cadaver was severed, remember? You could hammer a nail into that tooth and you wouldn’t feel a thing (not recommended).

Your medical school graduate (doctor) is understandably unaware of the invasion. But they are not to be blamed. How could they possibly know? They graduated from medical school!

As for trying to discuss this situation with your dentist, faggedaboudit. Trust me, I’ve been politely rebuffed by three dental “practices” for trying to shine some light on this subject.

Yes, dear ones, you’re on your own.

Which leads me to suggest that you view last evening’s RISE meetup in which I went into extensive detail about how I am in the process of rescuing myself from a nasty case of bacterial pneumonia brought about by two (count them!) adjacent teeth that were “root canaled” 40 years ago (and since extracted, thank you very much).

Let’s hear it for my immune system! It did a heroic job for as long as it could. Then I came down with a mild sinus infection, then a bad sinus infection, then a bad cough, then hacking stuff up (yuck), then I couldn’t breathe very well, then I went to the emergency room where, unwittingly, they gave me a standard antibiotic for which I am… wait for it… genetically resistant. Ha! Who knew?
